Don’t think I’m posting so often that I need your attention.

I was tasked to.

So now I will tell you about Academic Orientation. This is the second part of the Freshmen Enrichment Program. So after we know all about the university, we are introduced to the basic of everything we will learn.

Judging from what major I’m in, yes, you’re right. We learned basic Algorithm and Coding. What is Algoritm you said? It is like… it teaches you to have a strong logic at chronology. They explained us with something unuseful like.. when we are about to cross the street, first we need to see if it is a one way or a two way road, then see through a way the car comes, if there is no car, cross. Like that. Chronology of something you need to do. Then you will see that it corelates to how you do a Pseudocode.

Pseudocode? So it is a way to explain your code one line by one line in human language. Like…if you write this in C: printf (“Hello, World!~”); The pseudocode is: “print Hello, World!~”

But because my teacher is somewhat… too excited, he taught us about coding already. I assume you know what is coding. We are prefered to use C language at first, so my other teacher tasked us to participate 30 days of code at hackerrank.com to improve our training. It is pretty motivating… Like we can’t even cheat because we have to screen shot the result and you can’t find the answer at google…

And we get another tasks as well. Like making this blog and doing a paper about an idea… But I find this session is very helping. Like… I never used C, i only used VB and Paschal on the surface. But as long as you like the subject, you will find learning about it is fun. I always like programming, even tho I usually have syntax error 100 times before I get the right code. But I really enjoy it, the same thing as when i learn drawing. It’s like… you want to learn more even tho you don’t have to. And thus, I find this orientation so fun~ and tiring of course… I get a schedule which makes me go home at 5 o’clock…

Anyway… i think that’s all. I really recommend you guys to participate the 30 days of code as well… so I’ll have a friend to suffer with~ //no. It’s pretty helping. Trust me.
