Task… Remember it…

So now I’m going to tell you an event hosted by Himti, Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika, it’s Computer Science Student Association.

I wasn’t too excited to attend it because you have to pay 150k IDR and it’s pretty expensive but I attend it anyway because I have a feeling that I have to.

I’m right. I’m tasked to do this blog about this.

So it was at the expo, they offered us a “Welcome Party” for new students like us. They say that we can’t attend this event later. HTTP, Himti Togetherness and Top Performance. I’m attracted because of the cool trailer video. And they offered a day to learn C language if I pay, so I paid.

So this event is technically a part of Academic Orientation. We were set to Guided Self Learning Class, or in short, a holiday. So if you don’t attend this, you are in a holiday. But you still have to do this blog.

By the way, so the first thing they did is a C language class. I find it very useful because I never learned that language. It’s pretty different from VB and Paschal so I’m happy I came… The teacher was nice and playful. He teaches us very well that I understand in a second.

Okay, that was C language class. After that was AO, and then came the day of this event. I was pretty excited because I go with a bus pretty rarely… We went there by bus at 7.45 AM and got there not long after a music (I measure time with music lol). We went to BPPT… I forgot what it is but it’s something like… technology place.

After I got there, I searched for a seat and I got a seat at the tribune. And they showed us Zootopia! I really love that movie. But unfortunately, they cut it…

The show started with some bands singing. They sang very well. I enjoyed it. And then the MCs came and they made another cool video about how the MC were late because he overslept. I must say they are very good at making videos.

They let the chairman and every other teachers went up to the stage. They introduced the teacher one by one and that was so many of them. I got tired at first, but I end up seeing my teacher went up.

After that there was so much shows. The funniest one was the visualization… the drama they made about campus life. They made it so funny and I laughed a lot~ And they offered us a flashmob that was so cool~

And the coolest one is… they invited a DJ!~ I really enjoyed the music, even tho i didn’t used to jump at a show with cool music. I feel a little scared of too many people so i went to the back of the room and enjoyed the music.

The DJ was the last thing they showed. We were given a goodie bag after that and we went back with bus to the campus again.

I have a lot of fun there~ I hope I am a little more normal… Hope the next event’s more cool and less shouting than this. Have fun~
